The Loughborough Building Society supports Rainbows Children’s Hospice with new savings initiative

Rainbows welcomes a community savings accounts initiative by The Loughborough Building Society.

With branches located in Loughborough, Derby, Long Eaton, Anstey and Southwell, these accounts offer savers the opportunity to make a difference. Saving with The Loughborough means that The Loughborough, in turn, donates money to our charity.

Lisa Burns-Kent, Head of Marketing and Business Development at The Loughborough Building Society, said: “At The Loughborough, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community, and our partnership with Rainbows is a reflection of this dedication. By launching these new community savings accounts we are offering our savers a unique opportunity to support a cause that provides vital care for children and young people.

“It’s a privilege to introduce these community savings accounts as part of our efforts to give back. The initiative directly links savings growth to charitable giving, empowering the community to make a tangible difference.

“Our teams will actively participate in various fundraising and volunteering initiatives to support Rainbows essential work. This collaboration truly demonstrates our pledge to make a meaningful difference in the community. We are excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to work together to deliver care and support to those who need it most.”

Kate Golding, Head of Relationship Fundraising at Rainbows, added: “We are thrilled The Loughborough Building Society has chosen us as its charity partner for the year and we love the idea that people can financially benefit themselves and Rainbows by signing up to a specified savings account.

“We rely on our supporters to help us to continue providing care and support to hundreds of babies, children and young people at our hospice, in hospital and at home. We look forward to an exciting year ahead. We are grateful to The Loughborough Building Society and their customers for making this possible.”
