Santas needed for Rainbows runs
East Midlands Santas are needed to don their red suits and take part in a festive run for Rainbows.
The Santa Runs will take place in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire in December and distances vary from 2.2 miles to 5 miles. All money raised at the sponsored events will go towards our vital work.
Katie Baxter, events and community manager at Rainbows, said: “Christmas is almost here and these events are a perfect way of having some festive fun with your friends and family. We can’t guarantee there will be snow, but we do guarantee there will be a brilliant atmosphere and the camaraderie among all of our Santas is fantastic.
“So not only are you having a great time and keeping fit, you are also helping to fund Rainbows and the hundreds of families we support every year. We hope to see you there.”
The Santa Runs will take place at:
- Derby – 11am on Sunday 7 December at Elvaston Castle.
- Loughborough – 11am on Sunday 7 December in Loughborough Market Place.
- Nottingham – 11am on Sunday 14 December at Rushcliffe Country Park.
