Rainbows staff stage huge thank you to supporters
As part of our 30th birthday celebrations, staff at Rainbows staged a “One Big Thank You” event to express their gratitude to supporters.
We wanted to thank as many supporters as possible for being part of our legacy, and enabling us to provide vital care to thousands of families across the East Midlands over three decades.
Last week, our staff gathered together over two days and contacted 1,140 people.
Hannah Tee, Trusts and Philanthropy Manager at Rainbows, said: “We simply wanted to say thank you to our supporters for their kindness and generosity. Without them, there wouldn’t be a Rainbows.
“We couldn’t do what we do without our supporters, and we wanted to take the time to let them know how valued and appreciated they are. Our team came together over two days to make this happen and we had a fantastic response. It was a lot of fun and great to hear so many wonderful stories.
“Over the last 30 years, Rainbows has grown into a place where we can support so many more babies, children and young people with serious and terminal illnesses at the hospice, in hospital or at home.
“We want to thank everyone, even if we didn’t manage to call you, who helps our Rainbows families through the most difficult times.”
