Rainbows staff get their oars stuck in to Dragon Boat Challenge

Our staff are training hard to take part in this year’s Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge.

The team, called Rain Boat, can’t wait to get their oars stuck in to the challenge, which takes place on Sunday 4 August.

More than 30 crews from across the East Midlands are expected to join Rain Boat to battle it out over the 200m race course on the River Trent at Victoria Embankment.

This is the 11th year we have been the official charity partner for the challenge organised by Gable Events. During that time, more than £100,000 has been raised for our work in caring for babies, children and young people with life-limited illnesses.
