Rainbows needs you
People looking for a new direction in the New Year can benefit from a rewarding experience by volunteering at one of our shops.
Our shops – in Melton, Matlock, Blaby, Market Harborough and Beeston – need volunteers to help with sorting stock, dressing the shop windows and serving on the till.
Karen Bilsby, Head of Retail at Rainbows, said: “Our existing volunteers tell us how much they enjoy donating their time to us and learning new skills. Previous research has also shown that volunteering helps with self-esteem and confidence.
“We’re always looking for new volunteers, so if you have spare time, need a new challenge or simply wish to support Rainbows in a different way, please do get in touch. You can be a real part of something that brings support, love and laughter to children whose lives are sadly too short.”
All proceeds from our shops go towards providing care and support to hundreds of children and young people in the East Midlands who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses. For more information on how you can get involved with your local Rainbows shop, please visit www.rainbows.co.uk/shops
