Our gardens are Blooming Outstanding

We are proud to have been commended for our “outstanding” gardens. 

Our hospice gardens were given the rating in the 2018 Its Your Neighbourhood Award by the Royal Horticultural Society and East Midlands in Bloom. 

The award, which was presented shortly before Christmas, stated our hospice gardens were ‘a real haven’ as well as praising the wildlife areas and our use of recycled materials. 

Andy Lupton, Estates, Facilities and Safety Manager at Rainbows, said: “We are delighted to have received this status. The gardens are such a valuable space for the children, young people and the families who come to Rainbows. A special thanks goes to our team of over 20 volunteers who maintain our garden all year round. Without their dedication, it would not be the place it is.”
