Nottingham Dragon Boats raise £20,000 for Rainbows

The Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge has raised over £20,000 for us. We were the official charity partner for the event on Sunday 7 August and two crews from the hospice joined the other 43 teams taking part.

Tom Stanyard, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at Rainbows, said: “We’re delighted with another successful Dragon Boat challenge.

This year we had more teams than ever, the day ran smoothly and the weather was kind. To top that off, the companies taking part have raised a fantastic amount of money and we’d like to thank all of them for their hard work.
