Men, get your ‘kit’ off for Rainbows!
We are calling on footy mad men to ‘Get their kit off’ to help with a shortage of menswear in our shops. As football fever grips the nation with the Euro 2016 tournament, we felt it was apt to ask the males of the community to send their ‘kit’ to our shops.
Retail sales directly benefit the hospice, Selling clothes worth £5 could supply oxygen for a child who requires specialist breathing equipment for a day, £20 could help to fund a music therapy session and £25 could help fund the cost of one week’s play materials.
Karen Bilsby, Head of Retail at Rainbows, said: “We are very low on men’s clothing at the moment so we need all you men to have a clear out of your wardrobes and send your unwanted garments our way. Football shirts and training gear are welcome but it isn’t just your footy kit we need, we are also after trousers, shirts, t-shirts, shorts, jumpers and jackets.”
Donations can be made at the Rainbows shops or at the hospice in Loughborough. For more information on Rainbows shops, visit www.rainbows.co.uk/shops or contact 01509 638000.
