Leicestershire estate agents raises £1,255

A Leicestershire estate agent, with special links to Santa, has raised £1,255 for Rainbows.

Pre-Christmas, staff at Knightsbridge Estate Agents, in Queen’s Road, dressed as Santa and his elves to stage video calls and produce pre-recorded video messages for children.

All profits raised by the colleagues, who volunteered their time for this initiative, were donated to us, to help us continue to provide vital care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.  

Sarah St Clair, from Knightsbridge, said: “We were so happy and pleased to be able to do this for all of the children who missed out on seeing Santa this year because of Covid-19 restrictions.

“We have been overwhelmed by the popularity of it and delighted to have raised so much money for a fantastic cause. We would like to thank everyone who was involved, especially Luke, Liam, Paul and Sarah who volunteered their time to make this possible.”

Emily Wright, Rainbows Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, added: “This donation is incredible. We would like to thank everyone at Knightsbridge and everyone who bought a message from Santa. Not only did you put a smile on your children’s faces, you have helped raise so many smiles at Rainbows.”
