It’s a toy story for Rainbows
Our shops want families to make way for new Christmas toys by sorting out the old ones and donating them to us.
Last year, toy sales raised almost £30,000 for our work.
Karen Bilsby, Head of Retail at Rainbows, said: “Christmas is a time where children receive a range of new toys. Then parents or carers can be faced with the nightmare of where to put them all! By donating old toys to the Rainbows shop, not only are you clearing some valuable space, you are helping to raise money for hundreds of children and young people who have life-limiting illnesses and are cared for by Rainbows.
“We welcome any kind of toys, as long as they aren’t broken, even the noisiest ones! And people can also pick up some great bargains from our shops in Loughborough, Blaby, Market Harborough, Melton, Matlock and Beeston, which could make the perfect Christmas gift.”
