It’s our turn to present a guitar

Ten years ago, Dave Allen embarked on a journey to collect as many famous musician’s signatures on a guitar to raise money for our hospice.

The guitar was embellished with signatures of music legends including Pete Townshend, Alice Cooper, Gary Moore, Don McLean, Eric Clapton, Brian May and Jimmy Page. 

Last week, Dave and his wife, Helen, of Market Harborough, visited us to present £7,000 from the sale of the guitar which was auctioned at Bonhams Auction House. As a special thank you, we presented former music producer Dave with a guitar signed by our fundraising team.
