The Chase Celebrity Special: Matthew Hoggard wins thousands for Rainbows
Former cricketer Matthew Hoggard MBE scooped £21,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People by taking part in a game show.
Hoggard appeared on ITV’s The Chase Celebrity Special on Saturday night winning £42,000, which was equally split between Hoggard and Fern Britton.
Hoggard, who is a Patron of Rainbows, dedicated his prize fund to the East Midlands’ only children’s hospice.
He said: “I am delighted to have been able to raise £21,000 for Rainbows from my win on Celebrity Chase. I had great fun taking part in the show and to be able to help such a good cause at the same time is a bonus.”
