Bus Driving Superheroes raise money for Rainbows

Residents of South Wigston and Oadby may have been surprised recently when their local ARRIVA MIDLANDS bus service turned up driven by a “SUPER HERO”.

Local driver Mark Greenfield and his colleagues at the South Wigston depot had decided to raise funds for Rainbows Hospice before Christmas by donning various Super Hero outfits whilst driving their buses and asking their passengers for donations in support of the hospice.

Mark, pictured 2nd right with his Super Hero colleagues, said that they were amazed and delighted with the magnificent response from the local community who donated a total of £1500 to Rainbows.
