Bubbles Bag Thousands

Runners, walkers and joggers raised £52,000 for us by taking part in our first ever Bubble Rush event.

More than 1,600 people were showered with foam as they took part in the 5km Bubble Rush at Markeaton Park, Derby, in September.

Victoria Brunt, Events Coordinator at Rainbows, added: “We are delighted to announce the incredible amount which was raised at the event. We were so excited to hold our first ever Bubble Rush in Derby and the event didn’t disappoint. It was so much fun and everyone had a great time. “We would like to thank everyone who took part, all those who supported the runners and all of our volunteers. Your backing is invaluable and the Derbyshire community are always so supportive of Rainbows and our cause. We look forward to next year’s event and hope that you will join us.”

Next year’s Derby Bubble Rush takes place at Markeaton Park on Saturday 23 September.
