Bargain priced designer handbags in charity sale

To celebrate Handbag Day on Saturday 10th October, lucky shoppers in Loughborough are being offered the chance to pick up a designer bag for a bargain price, with all the money going directly to Rainbows.

The Rainbows Handbag Amnesty pop-up shop will be located at 7 Churchgate, in Loughborough city centre, for two days on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October. Shoppers will have the chance to browse through a huge collection of new and used bags, in every colour of the Rainbow, including many designer labels, evening bags and high street exclusives.

All of the bags – many of which are brand new and have never been used before – were donated as part of the Rainbows Handbag Amnesty campaign, which encouraged people from across the East Midlands to donate their unwanted fashion accessories to help raise vital funds for the hospice.

Organiser, Yvonne Powell-Caley, said: “We have lots of lovely handbags that we need to find new homes for. All of the money raised is going to Rainbows Hospice, so this really is a fabulous opportunity to do some guilt free shopping!”
