Symptom Management
We manage symptoms to improve the quality of life for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, or who are at the end of their lives.
We manage symptoms to improve the quality of life for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, or who are at the end of their lives.
Our aim is to provide that expert medical, nursing and therapeutic care, including the management of distressing symptoms throughout a baby, child or young person’s life.
Many of the babies, children and young people supported by Rainbows have very complex symptoms which change over the course of their life. We work in close partnership with Community Children’s Nurses, hospital teams and GP’s to ensure each child or young person gets the best care we can give. This is alongside support for their whole family.
