Lottery Winners
Congratulations to all winners of the Rainbows Lottery!
Congratulations to all winners of the Rainbows Lottery!
Winners story:
Louise started playing the Rainbows Lottery after having close involvement with a family whose two-year-old daughter had a brain tumour and was supported by us, until she passed away, aged four.
Last year, Louise won our weekly jackpot prize of £1,000, which enabled her to buy her new best friend – Cockerpoo Logi.
Louise said: “When I won, I thought the cheque was for £100 so imagine my surprise when it was £1,000! I was absolutely overwhelmed. It didn’t take me long to decide what to do with the money. I had always wanted a dog and the very next day I met my beautiful boy, Logi.
“Without the Lottery win, I wouldn’t have Logi. Getting a dog is something I had thought about for a long time, but something that didn’t happen because I was working all of the time. But now I am now retired.
“He has given me so much joy and I feel like he came into my life at exactly the right moment. My mum passed away last year, just after I had Logi. There would have been a massive gap in my life. When I won the Lottery and got him, I took him to the home mum was in to meet her and I have a lovely little picture of the two of them together.
“I would urge everyone to play the Rainbows Lottery. It is such an easy thing to do and only costs just over £1 a week. As well as being a winner myself, I know that my regular donation helps so many families.”
What a wonderful surprise when the winning letter came through my door. My recent communications have been the bills going up! This good news put a smile on my face and spring in my step.

Winners story:
Lee Mann scooped £1,000 on our Lottery, which enabled him to spend a week away with his wife, Nicola, following their wedding.
Lee is now encouraging people to sign up to our Lottery, which each week has a jackpot of £1,000.
Lee has played our Lottery for four years. He said: “I signed up when I was approached by a volunteer who was fundraising near some local shops. My young daughter was with me at the time and the fact that she is fully healthy, possibly something that I took for granted, made what was said about the work of Rainbows even more impactful.
“I was keen to make a regular contribution in some way to brighten short lives and this is something that I will continue to do. The £1,000 win was a complete shock. I did a double take when I opened the envelope, such was my disbelief.”
It’s a lovely surprise and totally unexpected as I can’t remember the last time that I won anything significant in a lottery/competition. I would support Rainbows with monthly donations regardless of the lottery, but I’m delighted nevertheless.

Having been to Rainbows I saw what a wonderful place it is and have always been happy to support. Winning this is completely unexpected and I was delighted!
Anna (39)
I have donated in this manner to Rainbows for many years without any thought or hope of winning, so this win came as a total and exciting surprise. Thank you.
Brian (84)
It means I can donate some back to Rainbows and share some with my daughter and grandchildren. It was a wonderful surprise as I had never won anything like that before.
