There are lots of groups in our community – Rotary Clubs, Brownies and Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, Lions Clubs, mums and toddler groups, sports clubs, faith groups and many more – all can get involved to support Rainbows. Fundraising together makes it more fun and more people means more ideas too!

Groups raise much needed funds and give many hours of their time to support Rainbows. We rely on these groups to ensure we can continue to be there for our babies, children and young people.

There are lots of ways your group could support us, including:

Rainbows Cake

Hold a cake sale or coffee morning

It could be a cake you’ve baked or one you’ve brought but cake sales are always popular. Asking for donations towards them will all add up!

Quiz night

Everyone loves showing off their knowledge, why not create come healthy competition and organise a quiz night.

A microphone

Organise a talent show

Everyone has a hidden talent, why not put on a show to showcase these whilst raising funds for Rainbows.

More Ideas

  • guess the number of sweets in a jar
  • hold a sports tournament
  • donate your loose change
  • organise a sweepstake
  • take part in a sponsored event together

Have fun, be creative, keep it simple – we’re here to help with resources too!

Our Community Fundraisers, or volunteers, would be happy to come and speak to your group about the work we do throughout the East Midlands – both at our Hospice, in local hospitals and in the community – whilst talking to you about how your support makes a difference to local babies, children and young people.
