Our Rainbows Open Day returns for 2024 as we welcome our supporters, volunteers and friends to join us this April.

You can see first-hand how your support makes a world of difference to the services and facilities available at Rainbows to babies, children, young people and their families. Our Open Day is also the perfect chance to discover what Hospice care is, meet our team and hear first-hand how we’re supporting families across the East Midlands, affected by serious and terminal conditions.

As we celebrate our 30th year, we will bring the care we deliver to life, and show you how our supporters make a real difference. There will also be opportunities to enjoy refreshments, take part in our fundraising raffle and a Bow Bear hunt for children.

We hope to see you at our Open Day and to have a chat with you over tea and cake in the marquee, giving you the chance to ask any questions you may have.

In order to manage numbers and stagger arrival times so we can offer you the best experience, we are operating a booking system. • Is there parking?

Parking is very limited on site at Rainbows and we will therefore be operating a shuttle bus service from 10am until 4pm to transport visitors the short distance between Loughborough Grammar School and the hospice. The address for the Grammar School is Leicester Road, Loughborough. For Sat Nav please use LE11 2AQ.

There is a small amount of parking at Rainbows for Blue Badge Holders only. If you do have a Blue Badge but are able to use a bus shuttle service we’d be really grateful if you did this, so we can ensure on site spaces are available for those who need them.

We’d also like to encourage you not to park in the local streets close to the Hospice. We are expecting hundreds of visitors and we want to ensure our neighbours aren’t negatively impacted by the number of cars on our special day.

If you do have any questions, please contact our Supporter Relations team who will be happy to help [email protected], 01509 638049.
